Rent Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 via Xcom for just $1 per day

In a bid to add more sparkle to their international roaming data services, Xcom will start renting out Google’s Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets to its customers on a per day basis, allowing them to take those tablets out on their trips to other countries.

The Nexus 7 rental is priced at $2 per day and the Nexus 10 at $3 per day, though as an introductory offer, Xcom is offering the Nexus 7 at $1 and the Nexus 10 at $2 per day. The Nexus 10 isn’t available yet and is coming soon, which is expected since the tablet went on sale just a day or two ago and is only just shipping out to customers.

It’s a great service Xcom is starting up, with two of the best tablets that Android has to offer, with top of the line specs and providing a pure Google experience. However, with the tablet app ecosystem of Android not being so great, I wonder if it would’ve been better to give people iPads instead.
