For the computer geeks out there, the ability to install multiple operating systems on the single system is a causal part of life now. Considering that our Android devices are nothing but miniaturized smart computers, the ability to run multiple ROMs on a single Android device is finally a reality, all thanks to the MultiROM tool.
The feature isn’t exactly new in the Android environment but was considered too risky to be useful as it messed around with data partitioning. Thanks to Project Treble and all the devices that support it, MultiROM tool no longer modifies the important elements like the boot sector or the data partitioning.
The support is currently not for Android 8.0 Oreo devices, which is why almost all Project Treble devices cannot try out MultiROM as of yet. But since Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro running Android 7.0 Nougat is a proud supporter of Project Treble, it a prime candidate to install two separate ROMs on a single machine with MultiROM tool.
To start things off, you will need TWRP custom recovery installed on your Redmi Note 5 Pro to install and use MultiROM recovery. If you don’t have TWRP installed already, simply follow our step-by-step guide given in the link below.
