In a few hours, Razer is expected to unveil its next-gen smartphone effort, the Razer Phone 2. In the meanwhile, the phone has prematurely gone up for pre-order in Italy, although the listing has now been removed.
Amazon Italy revealed that the Razer Phone 2 will come with the huge price tag of €870 (or Rs. 74,511 / $1,014), which exceeds that of its predecessor at launch.

Anyway, as shown on Amazon, the Razer Phone 2 appears to be strangely similar to the original Razer Phone. It features large bezels just like its past iteration and quite probably the same 5.7-inch UltraMotion screen with QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
But this time around, the phone has a centrally arranged main dual camera, which we hope will see a few improvements and a water-resistant glass body. Despite previous rumors saying the contrary, the phone appears to be based on the latest Snapdragon 845 and backed up by 8GB of RAM and only 64GB of storage.
Razer is also said to have added a wireless charging functionality and Chroma RGB LED effects to the new phone. This means that the company’s logo on the back will light up in different colors when notifications come in.

Other specs we expect to see on board the Razer Phone 2 include Dolby Atmos front-facing speakers, Vapor Chamber cooling system and perhaps a battery larger than the current model’s 4,000 mAh unit.
