Verizon Wireless is accepting pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. The Big Red will exclusively carry Samsung’s first 5G phone in the country, but this shouldn’t last an eternity. Pre-orders can be submitted through Verizon’s official website, Samsung online store, Samsung Experience Stores as well as Best Buy.
The Galaxy S10 5G was expected to arrive in the U.S. beginning May 16th, but we didn’t know much about when pre-orders would begin. With Verizon having already flipped on its 5G network earlier this month, it’s now ready to begin accepting pre-orders for the phone.
It was expected that the Galaxy S10 5G would cost a fortune when it arrives stateside. And true to this, the phone’s base model starts at a whopping $1300, but there is a 24-month plan of $54.16 per month to make things bearable. If 256GB storage isn’t enough, an extra $100 or $58.33 per month should be enough to get you the 512GB variant.

We expect other carriers to price the S10 5G similarly when it arrives, although T-Mobile is sometimes cheaper.
For those who pre-order the device, a “VIP Kit” comprising of the Galaxy Buds, a wireless charging battery pack and a water bottle is included. Verizon is also accepting trade-ins for old devices with up to $450 in place while those coming from other carriers solely for this 5G phone will get a $200 gift card.
The Galaxy S10 5G can be had in either Crown Silver or Majestic Black paint jobs.
