Best 1.0 Breeding Farm for Giant Pal Soul in Palworld

This is a late-game Palworld 1.0 farm built around turning one captured breeding pair into a steady line of hatchlings. Instead of repeatedly hunting the same open-world Pal, you capture one male and one female, make eggs at a Breeding Farm, hatch them in a Large Incubator, and feed the results into the Disassembly Station.

Requirements for the World Tree soul and core farm

You need access to the World Tree biome and enough capture power to safely catch a level 78 target Pal there. The farm also depends on gender, so catching two of the same Pal is not enough unless one is male and the other is female.

Before you start breeding, prepare your base setup. The Breeding Farm unlocks at level 19, the Disassembly Station unlocks at level 56, and the route uses Vegetable Cake because it can produce two eggs at once. A bonus egg Pal from the island habitat shown in-game can also help by giving a 50% chance for an extra egg, but you need its saddle crafted for the egg bonus to matter.

Find the level 78 target Pal

Look for the level 78 Pal shown in the World Tree area and bring capture gear strong enough for a late-game catch.

Check the left-side spawn area

Search the left-side area inside the World Tree biome where the target Pal appears.

Catch two of the same Pal

Capture two of the target Pal so you can turn the catch into a base farm.

Make sure the pair is male and female

Keep catching until you have one male and one female of the same target Pal.

Why breeding beats repeated World Tree hunting

The strength of this farm is that the dangerous part happens once. After you catch the male and female level 78 World Tree Pal, your base becomes the material source, and every new egg is another Pal you can hatch and process.

That matters because Giant Pal Souls are high-tier soul materials used at the Statue of Power for later Pal upgrades, including combat stats and Work Speed. Thermal Core is also an expensive late-game material, so getting both from the same breeding-to-disassembly loop makes the setup much more efficient than farming either material in isolation.

Do not judge the farm by a single hourly number. Your output depends on how fast you can make Vegetable Cake, how many eggs your setup produces, how quickly you hatch them, and whether you use the bonus egg Pal with its saddle active.

Fallback Giant Pal Soul routes without the World Tree farm

If you cannot run the World Tree breeding setup yet, farm Giant Pal Souls through other late-game routes first. These are useful backups for soul farming, but they should not be treated as Thermal Core farms.

Predator Pals are the cleanest active fallback because they are built around Giant Pal Soul drops. They look like stronger variants of normal Pals, marked by a reddish-pink aura and red eyes, so they are easy to miss if you are only scanning names.

The crafting route is steadier if you already have a good Large Pal Soul supply. A Crusher or Refrigerated Crusher can turn 2 Large Pal Souls into 1 Giant Pal Soul, which makes older Large Pal Soul farms useful even after you move into Giant Soul upgrades.

Mistakes that slow the farm down

The biggest mistake is mixing up Large Pal Soul and Giant Pal Soul. Large Pal Soul farms can support this route through crafting, but they are not the same thing as directly producing Giant Pal Souls from the World Tree breeding loop.

Do not skip the gender requirement. The farm needs one male and one female of the level 78 World Tree target Pal, and forgetting that turns the trip into wasted capture time. Also make sure you actually stock Vegetable Cake, because the Breeding Farm will not carry the loop by itself.

The bonus egg Pal is another easy loss. If you bring it but forget the saddle, you are leaving extra eggs behind. And if you are writing down routes for later, keep the categories clean: Predator Pal routes are Giant Pal Soul fallbacks, not Thermal Core farms.
