The Nexus 6P on Optus carrier is slated for a new software update by the end of this month. The Australian carrier has updated its software update page which shows that it will start pushing Android 7.1.2 to Nexus 6P by July end.
Optus has revealed that the testing for the update will also include Google security patches which is expected to complete mid to late July. The update should also optimize device performance and fix regular bugs.
Once the testing has been completed, Optus will start rolling out the stable build of Android 7.1.2 to Nexus 6P. The update would be delivered via OTA, and owners of the supported devices should receive a notification.
