Huawei unveiled the Mate 20 Pro in China a while ago and while the phone has already started selling in select global markets, it is only now that those in Australia can place orders for the same handset.
Thanks to Optus Australia, fans of Huawei can purchase the Mate 20 Pro right now, with shipping expected within 5 days. The phone costs AUD 1,800, but the carrier offers various financing options that should ease the burden of parting with such an amount outright.
The model in question has 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage and comes in Midnight Blue. Whether Optus will offer more color options is unknown. Other features of the Mate 20 Pro include a 6.39-inch QHD+ AMOLED display screen, a Kirin 980 chipset, a tri-lens 40MP + 20MP + 8MP camera on the back, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a huge 4200mAh battery, and Android 9 Pie out of the box.
