It is Oppo’s Valentine offering for customers. The Chinese company has come up with a Oppo R9s Valentine Red Edition which goes up for pre-order on February 7th. Sadly, it isn’t a global offering but limited to users in Malaysia only.
The Oppo R9s was launched in October last year alongside Oppo R9s Plus. It hit the Malaysian shelves on January 5 at a price of RM1,798.00. Oppo has not specified the price of the special R9s edition, so we assume it should cost the same as the launch price in the country.

All the specs of the new Edition remain the same, except for two new features. The first that caught our attention was the Laser Print feature which allows you to print a 20-character romantic message on the back of the phone. This can be done at the time of placing the pre-order on the Oppo online store. Think of it. A customized phone with personal message to your loved ones. This can turn out to be your best Valentine gift ever.
Another change is the color of the antenna lines to black. Though a minor one, it makes the Red Oppo phone look more appealing to the eyes.
The Oppo R9S features 5.5-inch Full HD display, 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It comes with 16MP/16MP camera combo. It is powered by a 3010 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging which claims to give you two hours talk time with five minute of charge. It runs on Android 6.0.6 Marshmallow.
