Oppo Find 9 image leak hints at great screen-to-body ratio

Successor to the 2014 launched Oppo Find 7, the Oppo Find 9 has been in the making for over 2 years now. First spotted online way back in January 2015, this touted to be Oppo’s flagship phone is yet to see the light of the day. Although in the news for too long a time, we haven’t got bored of it anyways. And if the recently leaked images of the Oppo Find 9 are to seen, boredom is a word too far away from it.

Coming from Chinese microblogging site Weibo, leaked images of Oppo Find 9 show the phone sporting bezel less look with great screen-to-body ratio, which have sort of become the trademark of flagship smartphones. The phone is shown in five images, all from the front, with some throwing light on the quality of its display.

As Oppo was one of the first smartphone makers to launch a Quad HD device which was none other than the Oppo Find 7, its successor sporting striking display is an expected feature. The Oppo Find 9 can be seen sporting edge to edge display and very thin bezels at the top and bottom. The device seems to have a metal build, if not entirely, at least its frame definitely is made out of metal.

At the bottom bezel, there’s space for the Oppo branding. The phone should have physical home keys placed on the screen, which can be seen on the bottom right side of the Oppo Find 9. The curved edges are unmistakable as well as the interesting front texture.

The leak also mentions that Oppo Find 9 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC. Other features which we have been hearing the phone will sport are 5.5 inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat and pack in 4GB RAM/64GB ROM or 6GB RAM/128GB ROM. There will be a 21 MP rear camera and 16MP front shooter. The fingerprint scanner will be placed at the back and underneath will be tucked a 4100 mAh battery to keep the juices flowing.
