OnePlus is currently seeding a new bug fixer Oreo beta update for the OnePlus 5T. This is still the OxygenOS Open Beta 1, not the 2nd beta, but it includes a bug fix.
The update is rolling out to those who have installed the Oreo Open Beta 1 on their device. You will receive the update over-the-air and it weighs around 35MB in size. If you haven’t received the update, you can go to System Updates in the Settings app and tap on Check for Updates.
Once again, this isn’t the second beta, it’s just a bug fixer. The first beta caused issues with third-party camera apps and didn’t let you take a selfie. Some users would get a green picture when taking photos using the front camera and a third-party app. This bug has been fixed in this update.
OnePlus Oreo update release date
That seems to be it though, for now. The first Oreo beta for OnePlus 5T was released about a week ago, so you can expect the second one to arrive this week perhaps. An official stable Oreo update should be out in the next month hopefully. The OnePlus 5 has already received the stablet Oreo update by the way.
