OnePlus has its costliest phone in OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. The company is known for publishing software updates sooner than later, whether it’s about Android OS version updates like Android Pie and Android 10, monthly security updates, or even feature-rich and bug fixer updates.
In fact, OnePlus has already confirmed that they will be supporting 2-year old devices like OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T to Android 10 (besides OnePlus 6 and 7 sets, of course), which speaks volumes about the OnePlus’s dedication to software updates.

When will OnePlus 7 Pro 5G get Android 10?
- Stable release expected in Q1 2020
Well, the Android 10 is available for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro now as OxygenOS 10 OS. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G isn’t at the top of the company’s priority list for sure, but the device is still in line to receive the highly-anticipated Android 10 update ahead of many other flagships. How long will OnePlus support OnePlus 7 Pro 5G
OnePlus is known to support their devices well. And they are also pretty good at rolling out the updates in a very timely manner. No wonder then that they are months ahead of even Samsung in releasing major Android OS updates.
OnePlus has always supported their devices for two years, but with the OnePlus 3 and 3T, they extended the support for another year by releasing the Android Pie for the devices. Although the rollout was in a limited manner via community beta build, you can be sure that OnePlus won’t back off when it comes to updates.
They have even promised Android 10 for OnePlus 5 and 5T, which means these two handsets will be supported for 3 years as well.
You can be sure that OnePlus 7 Pro 5G will be supported for 2 years at the minimum, which means it will definitely get Android 10 and Android 11 updates. But there also exists a great chance that OnePlus would roll out even the Android 12 update for the device.
Security updates should be regular, no doubt about that. And you can even expect new features and bug fixes if any in a timely fashion.
