OnePlus 6T will soon be replaced by the new and shiny OnePlus 7, but the device is still very much on the company’s radar.
The device has already been accepted into the ongoing Android Q beta testing program, something that has opened up a new world for developers and tinkerers.
As of this writing, OnePlus 6T already has unofficial TWRP recovery support for Android Q. However, using this needs flashing the recovery tool in the boot partition via fastboot and then manually rebooting it in recovery mode.
The developer, XDA senior member mauronofrio, hasn’t tested the said TWRP and since Android Q is still unstable, it’s near impossible to make any meaningful progress in this regard.
