OnePlus 5 was launched on June 20 and soon it was available in many countries. However, Australia was not one of them. But, we have some good news for Australian fans.
OnePlus will soon bring the flagship device, OnePlus 5 to Australia through a soft launch program. What this means for a user is that the device will be available in limited quantity through trial sales. OnePlus says it wants to test the product and supply chain in Australia, hence this move.

Then in September, OnePlus will hold a meet up in Melbourne and Sydney to get feedback from the users. If you are interested in the OnePlus events in Australia, you should fill this form.
To recap, OnePlus 5 features 5.5-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, it is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45 GHz.

The device comes in two variants of 6GB RAM/64GB memory and 8GB RAM/128GB memory. It is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with support for dash charging and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
In the camera segment, OnePlus 5 sports a dual 16MP + 20MP rear camera, while on the front side you get 16MP camera.
