Uptill now OnePlus has remained tight lipped about its upcoming flagship smartphone. All that we know about OnePlus 5 is through leaks, rumors, renders and concept images. But seems the Chinese company is opening up a bit and revealing something officially for the first time. Well, not exactly revealing but giving us a hint about the color options OnePlus 5 could come in.
The OEM has posted a teaser about OnePlus 5 on its official Twitter handle. It doesn’t directly mention OnePlus 5 but just poses a question: What 5hould the color of your next phone be? The usage of the number “5” instead of “s” is a clear enough indication that the teaser talks about OnePlus 5.

The question is accompanied by four colors viz Black, Red, Gold and a strange pink-blue gradient color. This could possibly mean that OnePlus is planning to launch the flagship product in all the four colors shown or it is still mulling which colors to choose to paint the new phone. And thus it is asking users to help it decide on the final colors. While the Black, Red, and Gold are colors we have seen before don the body of flagship smartphones, it would be really interesting to see how an unique pink-blue gradient color is made to fit into a smartphone.
OnePlus 5 is rumored to feature dual cameras of 16MP+16MP resolution. The display will be 5.5-inch which will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU, as per AnTuTu listing. The phone will sport 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM and will be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Power will come from a 3600 mAh battery.
