OnePlus 3T gets OxygenOS 3.5.4 update today!

After releasing a new Nougat update build for OnePlus 3 today, OnePlus is sending out a Marshmallow based update to OnePlus 3T users too. Dubbed as OxygenOS 3.5.4, the update gets you lots of optimizations to the device. The OTA is already rolling out, so if you own a OnePlus 3T, it’s time to check for an update under Settings.

The OxygenOS 3.5.4 build for the 3T, gets you optimizations for Bluetooth connectivity with cars from Mazda, T-Mobile networks in USA, battery saving mode, Whatsapp, etc. and improves system performance and fixes various bugs.

On the OxygenOS 3.5.4, the OnePlus 3T won’t lag when the battery goes below 5%. While, in the battery saving mode, both GPS and Orientation preferences will be restored when the mode is closed. The issue with use of Flashlight in Whatsapp also stands fixed in the latest OnePlus 3T update.

The update shows that OnePlus is quick to fix the issues users have reported to them.

We’re still waiting on OnePlus 3T Nougat update (beta or stable) for the OnePlus 3T, but given the fact that OnePlus is rolling out another Android 7.0 build for OnePlus 3 while still ignoring the OnePlus 3T, it seems the 3T is going to receive stable 7.0 update directly. Anyway, OnePlus has said that they target December release for the 3T Nougat update.
