OnePlus took feedback of the Open Beta 9 and Open Beta 8 Nougat test builds from the community, and has come up with a more refined version of their Nougat update in Open Beta 10, which is based on OxygenOS 4.0.

The new OnePlus 3 Android 7.0 build comes with few changes, but even then, bug fixes and stuff are important here because this could be the Nougat est build before OnePlus decides to rollout the Nougat update as stable one, for both the OnePlus 3, and OnePlus 3T, for which a Nougat test build got leaked earlier.

The latest OnePlus 3 Open Beta 10 build brings you data saver as a new feature on Android 7.0, while it fixes issues with lock screen clock in portrait mode, and solves problem of default theme auto applying on the device on Nougat after a reboot.

The Open Beta 10 update also optimizes battery life and WiFi performance, while improving on other fronts, like the speed at which fingerprint sensor unlocks the device, system performance and quality of expanded screenshots.

Download the Open Beta 10 build here, where a guide to install it also available. The link gets you download of Open Beta 10 Full ROM, sized 1.40GB, while the OTA itself runs on 173MB.

Do let us know if you experience any issues with the OnePlus 3 Nougat update, as the stable release is really close, with OnePlus having promised the December launch at many times.

If OnePlus gets the Nougat update right for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, it will make many users more likely to purchase its upcoming OnePlus 4 set, because updates have been the only area where OnePlus has struggled a lot in the past.
