OnePlus just began rolling out another Android Pie beta update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Dubbed as community beta 2, like the first build, this update is also only available as a manual download.

Yes, you won’t get it as an OTA update. In order to install the community beta 2 on your OnePlus 3 or 3T, you will need to download the whole firmware and install it using recovery mode yourself.

Let’s now talk about what’s new in this Pie update for OnePlus 3 and 3T. Well, it fixes some bugs, and that’s all.

  • Bug fixes
    • Clock timer and stopwatch interface display is incomplete
    • Microphone doesn’t work when earphones are plugged in
    • Crash issues with native message app
