The most recent OnePlus 2 detail confirms the price bracket of the smartphone. The quote has been let out by the manufacturer’s CEO, Pete Lau itself.

He assures that the OnePlus 2 will be priced below $450 and it is assumed to be cost from $449. This is definitely a departure from the OnePlus One’s initial price of $229 for the 16 GB base model. After the price cut, the OnePlus One starts at a price of just $249. Eventually, the price tag of almost $200 more for its successor ensures a premium.

OnePlus has already confirmed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset will be used for the upcoming flagship, and this shows the premiumness of the device in comparison to the Snapdragon 801 SoC in the OnePlus One.

Also, the OnePlus 2 will arrive with a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. The smartphone is the first one to be unveiled in virtual reality on July 27.
