Samsung is continuing its quest of rolling out the October security update to several Galaxy devices in various regions. The latest phones/tablets to be updated with the latest patch are the following:
- Galaxy J7 Pro
- Galaxy J8
- Galaxy S7
- Galaxy S7 edge
- Galaxy Note 9
- Galaxy A8
- Galaxy Tab S3

The Mexican version of the Galaxy J7 Pro is getting the October security patch which brings software version J730GMUBU5ARJ1. The new patch is also currently hitting Galaxy J8 models in Kazakhstan and bumps up the software on board to version J810FJXU2ARJ3.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in Germany are getting updated to software version G930FXXS3ERJ4 and G93FXXS3ERJ4 respectively.
Moving on, users of the Galaxy Note 9 in the Caucasus region can update their device to firmware version N960FXXS2ARJ4, while the Bosnian Galaxy A8 is receiving the new software version as A530FXXU3BRJ4.
Last but not least, the French Galaxy Tab S3 is also getting updated to version T825XXU2BRJ1.
