Questions about Letter Boxed
How is Letter Boxed played?
The square shows twelve letters, with three on each side. Form words by selecting letters in sequence, using at least three letters per word. Letters may be reused within a word or in later words, but consecutive letters cannot come from the same side. When a word is entered, its last letter becomes the start of the next word; proper nouns and hyphenated words are not accepted. The puzzle ends when every letter has been used at least once.
When does Letter Boxed change to a new puzzle?
A new puzzle arrives every day at 3 a.m. Eastern Time in the United States.
How many words can a Letter Boxed solution have?
The game sets no limit on the number of words. It gives a target for each puzzle, and today’s target is six words. A solution with more words than the target still solves the puzzle.
Where can a person play Letter Boxed?
