Asus has been working on the Zenfone 3 Nougat update, that we’ve known for quite some time now — they even have a Android 7.0 beta program running on, the highlight feature of which is its rather huge test time and delayed rollout.
Though, it seems it’s bearing fruit for at least one user, who got the Android 7.0 update on its Zenfone already (presuming under the beta program), and was quick enough share some pictures with the world, giving us preview of what to expect in Asus Nougat update, at least UI and features-wise.
In the images provided below, you can see a lot of new stuff on the Zenfone 3, like Nougat features of multi-screen mode, new UI for ZenUI, etc.
Let’s hope Asus is able to start the rollout for the all Zenfone 3 users of the stable Android 7.0 update soon, because it’s been quite some time now. Other OEMs have already gone far ahead; here’s a list of official Nougat update releases so far.

- HTC 10
- HTC One M9
- Moto G4 and G4 Plus
- Moto Z and Z Force
- Galaxy S7 (beta)
- Galaxy S7 Edge (beta)
