Nokia loyalists have a reason to celebrate as HMD Global Oy, the exclusive licensee of Nokia brand phones and tablets, have announced a roadmap for Android Pie OTA update for as many as four of its phones during the launch event of its Nokia 7.1.
Nokia is known for providing super-fast updates on its devices, for instance when it released the Android Pie update for Nokia 7 Plus just six weeks after its launch.
The models which will receive the latest Android Pie OTA update in the month of October itself includes Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus. That’s not to disappoint those with Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco, which are scheduled to receive the OTA update sometime in November.
