Last week we got a glimpse of the upcoming Nokia flagships. Well, they were technically glimpses, as the prototype smartphone was covered in a case blocking out all the design aspects of the device. Today, mmddj_china tweeted out that the upcoming Nokia 8 or Nokia 9 may feature an Aluminium alloy body and we can sort of confirm that to an extent.
He also suggests that the devices will be similar to the iPhone 4, which had a box like body with metal sides. In theory, it sounds pretty cool, but how will Nokia actually pull it off? After all, many devices have “borrowed” this design before. But knowing Nokia (or rather HMD Global), we’ll get to see a pretty cool device, hopefully.
Nokia new high-end smartphone(Nokia 8 or 9) will use Aluminium https://t.co/adc3tCXsyT like iPhone4.

Coming to the specs of the upcoming flagship, we expect nothing less than the Snapdragon 835 to feature in this device. The device, which may carry the model number TA-1004, was even spotted at Geekbench with a whopping 8GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. Looking at the spechseet, this might be the performance beast that we’ve all been waiting for.

In addition to that, the flagship may feature a 5.27-inch WQHD display and a 13MP dual camera at the back which is also expected to be a great snapper. Like the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 the upcoming device will also run on near-stock builds of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Nokia deserves this much of comeback as the company has been long overdue on delivering devices after it went down.
