The Nokia 7.1 is the latest phone to get the Android 9 Pie update. As announced by HMD’s Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas on Twitter, the latest version of Android has started rolling out to owners of the device.

Nokia 7.1 is the fourth phone to get to Android Pie after the Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus.

If you have a Nokia 7.1, you should note that the update is rolling out in phases, so  not everyone will get it right away. You will probably have to wait a few days, so make sure you keep an eye on your phone.

The Nokia 7.1 is mainly available in the Western markets, including the US. But HMD Global will probably launch the phone in India very soon too.

The company has sent out invites for a press event scheduled to take place on December 6 in India, which feature a Nokia phone with a small notch. It’s very likely that this is the Nokia 7.1, although the Nokia 8.1 (or Nokia X7) is also a possibility.
