After a healthy dose of nostalgia, the Nokia 6 will be making its way to the US. The mid-range smartphone going by model number TA-1038 has just cleared certification at FCC. FYI, Nokia 6 carries model no. of TA-1000 for China, so we fully believe HMD’s this gizmo for US is the Nokia 6 indeed.

The Nokia 6 is Nokia’s best Android offering till date. With an extra large 4GB of RAM, a 1080p 5.5-inch display and a 3000mAh battery you would think of the device to be pretty high end. But it’s not, and that is uses a Snapdragon 430 processor means it’s fitting for the mid-range segment.

What surprised us most when Nokia revealed their Android lineup was not only that Nokia 6 was shipping with Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-installed — when famous OEMs ares till releasing Android 7.0 OTA for their popular devices — but also the fact that it ran a very clean build of Nougat. Looks like Nokia has already started playing their cards right with a no-nonsense stock build of Android.

As for the real Nokia powerhouses which will take the flagship stage, we’ve yet to get a clear picture of the smartphones, or their specs, but we know that could be identified by either or both of Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 monikers. What we do know is that they’ll come in all metal builds.
