HMD Global made it quite clear that it will push the monthly security updates on time (alongside the OS updates) during the launch of Nokia 6, 5, and 3 at the MWC event earlier this year.
And, the company has kept its promise so far with regular software updates that too as early as possible. Continuing the trend, Nokia has rolled out the July security patch to the Nokia 6 (TA-1003) which apparently makes it the first smartphone in the world to get the latest security patch.
Yes, even Google’s very own Pixel didn’t receive the July security patch reportedly.

The update weighs around 149MB in size and is currently hitting the Nokia 6 handsets in Hong Kong and Taiwan only for now. That said, the July security update (along with the June patch) should soon hit the Chinese variants as well, according to a report.
Currently, Nokia 6 is available only in three markets: China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The company had recently unveiled all the three Nokia handsets, i.e., the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 in India with the former two to be made available for purchase later this month.
