Nokia announced the Nokia 3 at MWC 2017, and since then we’ve seen the device making rounds at FCC with various device model numbers. And finally all these models have showed up at at WiFi Alliance as well today.

The following Nokia 3 models: TA-1020, TA-1038 and TA-1028 just received certification from the WiFi Alliance. Although, not much can be drawn directly in regard to release date for the device from these certificates, but they do hint that the global release is imminent.

Nokia 3 isn’t the most impressive device of the three Android devices Nokia launched at MWC 2017. The device comes with 5.0 inch IPS display, 2GB RAM, Mediatek MT6737 chipset and 8MP camera on both front and back. It’ll be shipping with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Nokia hasn’t given an official word as of yet regarding the release of Nokia 3. But now that the device has been certified by both FCC and WiFi Alliance, we might see it launching globally very soon. Stay tuned..
