Nokia 3 set for launch in USA, clears FCC

We recently reported that Nokia 3 was all set for an imminent release pending its clearance by FCC. Since then, two different variants of the device have been cleared by the American regulatory and are all set to release in America.

Although the variants which received clearance are different than the one we mentioned before (TA-1032), implying that another one may very well be on the way. The device variants TA-1028 and TA-1020 have received their respective clearances and will soon be releasing towards the American market. Yes, we’re kinds left perplexed by all of this, too!

For what it’s worth, the TA-1032 could be Nokia 3317! Yes! While the TA-102X series looks like Nokia 3 for what rumors are worth.

Incidentally the TA-1030 variant is poised to head for Asia which makes it unclear at this point if Nokia 3 will include an ‘unlocked variant’ in the US with carrier support for the device deeming highly probable.

Nokia 3 includes a compact 5-inch Full-HD screen and is powered by a MediaTek 6737 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB expandable storage, the device also comes with an 8MP camera on both the front and back and runs stock Android 7.0 out of the box. Nokia 3 is will be including a 2,650mAh battery and is likely to be available in four different colors.
