FCC has certified a new Sony handset today which bears the FCC ID number PY7-08618V. However, the documentation doesn’t reveal a name of sorts leaving us to nothing but the imagination.
We know, FCC has never been the one to share device name and such info, but they carried ample hint towards what a device could be, but not this time around. But you know us, we will know decipher the marketing name of the above-mentioned piece of gadget sooner or later.
Last month, Sony, the Japanese conglomerate had unveiled a bunch of phones at the MWC 2017 event. Among the lot, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra has already cleared the FCC. Also, although not confirmed, there have been reports about Xperia XZ Premium clearing FCC too.
Now, assuming that it’s true we are left with two smartphones, the Xperia XZs and Xperia XA1. Further, Sony had just announced a budget smartphone dubbed the Xperia L1 pegged for a late April launch which eventually leaves us with three smartphones.
