Xiaomi released the stable MIUI 10.0.1 to the Redmi 6 over a month ago and today, the device is receiving a second stable update that bumps the software version to MIUI 10.0.2.
The new update has plenty of new stuff to smile about. If you live in any of Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, this update adds Face unlock to your Redmi 6. This means you can now use your face to unlock your phone.
As usual, bug fixes are also included. Issues, where unimportant notifications would appear after a double tap, opening the camera rebooted the device, and crashing when creating wallpaper thumbnails, have been fixed, so make sure you grab this update once the OTA notification shows up.
