A mysterious Sony smartphone with 5.2-inch display has been spotted in a couple of benchmarks tests at Geekbench and GFXBench. This leaves us with a clue that the product might arrive very soon.

According to the phone specifications leaked at Geekbench and GFXBench, the new Sony device (model number E2303) is Android 5.0 Lollipop based and is equipped with an octa-core, 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor. The new smartphone features a 5.2-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Other specifications are similar to its predecessor which include a 5 MP front-shooter, 2GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

From the above specifications it is clear that Sony E23033 could be a mid-range phone and also a successor to last year’s Xperia C3, which also contains a 5MP front shooter and a 720p display.

Since Sony has confirmed that Xperia Z4 will not be unveiled at MWC 2015 on March 1st in Barcelona, we can expect that this mysterious product to be announced over there. Anyway, we are just a week away from the MWC event and we hope to see everything over there.
