Motorola Droid Turbo 2 has started receiving a new software update which is on the roll as we speak. The update bumps up the device to the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Nougat update arrives as software version 25.11.10 and installs the December Android security patch which is sad. At a time when other OEMs are rolling out February security update to their devices, Motorola’s slow pace of update doesn’t go very well with the users.
The update being OTA should hit your devices anytime soon. But if you aren’t one to wait, you can check it manually by heading to Settings » About device » Download updates. Before hitting the download button, ensure that your handset is over 50 percent charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Motorola Droid Turbo 2 was launched in 2015 with Android 5.1 Lollipop on board which was later updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
On February 28 my phone got the HTC turbo 2 Software Update 25.11.10.En and ever since then my phone has not been the same. It hangs up and all my alerts stopped working. I’m missing phone calls because my phone doesn’t ring and my text alert doesn’t sound off and my alarm clock stopping going off. I’m having to reboot the phone everyday. Before this update my phone was working great.
