The Moto Z2 Play from Motorola has landed on Indian soil and is available for INR 27,999. This is near the price range of the previous gen Z Play and considering that not much has changed with the Z2 Play, the price tag also seems to be acceptable.
The Z2 Play features the same 5.5-inch 1080p display with the processor and RAM getting a slight bump to the Snapdragon 626 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The battery on board has taken a hit and been brought down a bit to 3000mAh, so you won’t be able to get the same battery life from the Moto Z Play.
Unlike the flagship Moto Z2, the Z2 Play does not come with a dual camera setup. With all that said, it’s still a solid device so you’re not technically losing anything either.

Motorola used to have name for bringing innovation into the market. But things look kind of bleak after the Lenovo acquisition.
