In Mortal Shell 2, the Slumwater Drain Beacon is hidden in Prisoners’ Domain beyond Nochtean Gate; reach it through the concealed passage, enter Central Sewers, collect the Synaptic Vessel from the upper scaffolding, and purify the final corruption to complete the cleanse.
The route begins near Nochtean Gate, crosses Prisoner’s Way, and eventually leaves the main path through a disguised entrance. Inside, poison hazards, false walls, and layered scaffolding make several valuable pickups easy to miss.
Slumwater Drain is inside the Prisoners’ Domain Corrupted Gate on the western side of Fainweald. From the first main room, climb the small wooden stairs on the right and enter the room containing Laterite. Break the crates or barrels against the brick wall to expose the Illusory Wall, then pass through the broken gate.
Key Keep to the right in the hidden area and pass through the broken grate to find the Beacon. Choose Cleanse Beacon, clear Central Sewers, and purify the corruption at the end to complete the Beacon cleanse.
Take the scaffold shot from above if needed: you can climb the lower ramps and shoot the hanging rope from the upper route instead of lining it up from the sewer floor.
How to reach and cleanse Slumwater Drain in Mortal Shell 2
Start at Nochtean Gate, follow the concealed route into Slumwater Drain, and clear Central Sewers without leaving its major pickups behind.

Mark Nochtean Gate
Open the map and use the Nochtean Gate marker near the Corrupted Gate as your starting point.

Enter Prisoner’s Way
Pass through the illuminated doorway, descend the stone stairs, and defeat the enemies waiting near the gate.

Continue through the domain
Open the portcullis and follow the ruined passages through Prisoner’s Way toward the flooded chamber.

Reveal the concealed passage
Climb the wooden stairs in the main room and break the crates or barrels against the wall to pass through the hidden opening and broken gate.

Pass through the broken grate
Keep right in the secret area and pass through the broken grate leading to Slumwater Drain.
STEP 6/16
Enter the Beacon dungeon
Revitalize the Slumwater Drain Beacon, choose Cleanse Beacon, and enter its portal.

Descend into Central Sewers
Follow the root-lined passage, ride the elevator down, and prepare for poison hazards in the lower tunnels.
STEP 8/16
Search the early hidden walls
Break both concealed walls on the right and collect the Sheephead Totem before dropping into the main sewer route.

Drop into the sewer pipes
Descend through the opening and follow the large pipes into the poison-filled lower section.
STEP 10/16
Clear the poisoned chamber
Defeat the enemies around the pipes and burning chamber so you can use the surrounding scaffolding safely.

Lower the scaffold platform
Shoot the hanging rope attached to the wooden structure to lower the platform that forms the upper route.
STEP 12/16
Launch onto the scaffolding
Use the jump pad to reach the raised wooden platforms, then strike the plank to lower it as a bridge.

Collect the Synaptic Vessel
Cross the lowered bridge and take the Synaptic Vessel from the far side of the upper platform.

Check behind the upper passage
Follow the elevated route and collect both pickups hidden behind the breakable wall before continuing.
STEP 15/16
Take Ironpiercer’s Stone
Jump to the concealed ledge and open the chest to obtain Ironpiercer’s Stone.
STEP 16/16
Cleanse the final corruption
Defeat the remaining enemies, destroy the corruption cluster, claim the Ovum, and interact with it to finish cleansing Slumwater Drain.
