Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update that brings the version of the custom skin MIUI 10 to 9.1.10, the latest in town.
Although MIUI 10 beta 9.1.10 update is already available for a few Xiaomi users, the wider rollout will begin on January 10th, which is when we will also get hold of the official recovery and fastboot download links needed for manual installation.

Looking at the changelog, there seem to be little to be excited about this update. Apparently, users can expect a fix for the issue where the “data plan” is not visible under data usage, a bug that has been around since late November 2018. Also, the update fixes issues where casting volume field in Volume UI displays abnormally while casting, photos captured by the shortcut keys to enter the camera are not be saved (MIX 3), and automatic brightness didn’t work well.
Being a weekly upgrade, there isn’t much this update brings, but of course, MIUI 10 beta users can expect plenty of other bug fixes, security improvements and system performance optimizations once beta 9.1.10 is installed.
As noted, the current rollout is targeting a few users and later this weekend, a wider rollout will commence, so your patience is important here.
