It’s yet another week-end and Xiaomi has a new MIUI 10 beta update ready to be released for eligible devices. The update bumps the software version to 8.11.1, implying that the official OTA rollout will begin on November 1st.
In the short changelog that Xiaomi has published in the official MIUI forums, the new update fixes an issue where the Google search is overlapping the notch in the Settings of the Pocophone F1 as well as an issue with displaying float notification content on the Indian Redmi Note 5 Pro, otherwise known as Redmi Note 5 in markets outside the Asian subcontinent.

Also, the MIUI 10 beta 8.11.1 update fixes the “Delete many” translation error in Polish – an error that has been reported on all devices using MIUI 10 beta. Whether this is the update that brings Android Oreo beta to the Xiaomi Mi 5S, Mi 5S, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A is still unknown, but the Chinese smartphone vendor has hinted that an update to Oreo for these devices will be out very soon.
