The two mistakes that make players lose it
The bigger trap is timing. Once you use the grappling hook to climb out of this area, you can lock yourself out of the pickup — if you grapple up first and realize your mistake later, you will have to come back through Chapter Select. So treat the artefact as the thing you do before the climb, not after.
Key The other mix-up is name confusion. The Minoan King is a separate Relic of the Past in the same chapter, and it lives in a different room behind a frescoed wall — completely distinct item, distinct spot. Grabbing one does not grab the other, so don’t assume you are done for the chapter just because you picked up the Queen.
The moment you climb the ramp past the waterwheel, break right instead of jumping to the next ledge — that single detour is the whole difference between grabbing the Minoan Queen now and re-running the chapter later.
