It’s a bit too late in the day, but MetroPCS has finally announced that the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be available in its stores and on its website from Monday, October 22nd. MetroPCS had announced earlier in late September, that it would be releasing the Galaxy S3 in October.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE would be available off-contract for $499 plus taxes, along with any of MetroPCS’ 4G LTE plans. So basically it will set you back by the upfront amount for the handset, and anywhere between $30 to $70 per month for a 4G LTE plan. Like I said, a bit too late for the release, but cannot deny the quality of this handset, and for an off-contract deal, the S3 is undoubtedly worth every penny you pay for it.

In the specs department, MetroPCS’ galaxy S3 is pretty much the same as any other US galaxy S3, a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and an  8 MP shooter.
