Meizu Pro 6S has already been announced, in four colors, no less, but today we got glimpse of another color, purple.

The Meizu Pro 6S was announced with four colors in tow: dark grey, golden, pink and silver. But to us, the new purple color trumps them all.

Meizu Pro 6S Specs

The Meizu Pro 6S is an upgrade to company’s May 2016 offering in Pro 6, and brings notable changes to the table. In terms of specifications the only new changes seem to be the addition of a larger battery, from 2650mAh on Pro 6 to 3060mAh on Pro 6S. The other change is that the Pro 6S comes with the 64GB of built in storage only, whereas the Pro 6 has both 32GB and 64GB as options.

Unlike what OnePlus did when it upgraded their OnePlus 3 flagship to the OnePlus 3T, offering more RAM, more battery and a newer processor, Meizu has only opted to change the camera and battery. The processor remains the same Helio X25, which is Mediatek’s current best offering.

The camera on the other hand is seeing a downgrade in terms of Megapixel count, but a good deal of improvement in picture quality, thanks to power of 1/2.9″ size of sensor, with aperture of f/2.0, and capability of 1.25 µm picture quality of better darker environment snaps. There is no change in front facing camera.

In other news, the Meizu Pro 7 images have leaked out (in sketches too) confirming previous renders sporting a curved edge display and disproving the previous leak which showed a more square design.

The Meizu Pro 6S is expected to retail in China by the end of this year with a price tag of 2,699 yuan or $399 (Rs. 27,000 approximately).
