Good news Rogers users! The carrier just went ahead and announced its plans to released the Marshmallow update for variety of devices, and that includes the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

Currently on 5.1.1, the trio will get the latest Android 6.0.1 update soon, one that will bring comprise Wi-Fi calling, bug fixes and Google security updates besides big Marshmallow upgrade.

Wi-Fi calling is something we’ve seen recently given a go on Sprint and Verizon updates too.

Now that Rogers has confirmed the Android 6.0 update for S6 brothers, we think it would take them another 3-4 weeks to release it, even though it must be already under testing phase.

Let’s the update comes out sooner, and is BUG-free.
