If you love tinkering around with your Android device, then you probably already know Magisk is one of the best ways to safely have root your device with help of a single install of Magisk ZIP file using TWRP recovery.
Well, if you’re a Magisk user, then you’re in for a treat since the latest update now adds support for Android Q, though it comes with a caveat.
Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL users already were able to root their device while running the Android Q Beta using Magisk Canary, but now that support is being integrated to public release of Magisk, as v19.
Unfortunately, there’s still no support for the latest Pixel devices which are the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL so if you own the aforementioned devices, then you might have to wait a tad longer for Magisk support.
The entire changelog is available on the XDA portal for those interested in checking out all that’s new with Magisk v19.
