Okay, we’ve been hearing a lot about the secondary display on the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 which BTW is tipped to be launched on July 7. But, there haven’t been many leaks showing the secondary display in action.
That’s, however, changing today. A bunch of images have surfaced on Weibo showing us how the secondary display will look like when turned on. As you can see, the above image shows us what could be a messaging application on the secondary display.
On zooming in you can also see the on-screen navigation buttons on the secondary display. However, we highly doubt if the secondary display will be friendly enough to let users type considering the limited amount of real estate.

It’s still not clear how the company intends to implement this. If we were to speculate, however, the secondary display could primarily be used to display notifications and allow folks to use it while on low battery (Meizu had filed a patent for the same too).
As for the spec, the Meizu Pro 7 is tipped to get a 12MP (Sony IMX386) + 12MP (Sony IMX286) dual rear cameras. It will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek MT6799 Helio X30 chipset along with three storage options: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and a 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
