With the release of Android 9 Pie, LineageOS 16 is going to be the next big thing for fans of custom Android ROMs. While the first official LineageOS 16 build could arrive as soon as this month, there are already some unofficial builds available for select devices including the OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi Mi A1.
Well, today we’re adding a few more handsets which just received support for unofficial LineageOS 16 builds. We’re talking about the following:
The unofficial ROMs are available via the XDA Developers forum and you can get them right now. For each phone, the developer has made a list of things that are working and things that are not.
For example, in the case of the Poco F1 the camera, Bluetooth, video playback, Wi-Fi, fingerprint, audio and flash are working, while the IR camera is not.

But before you proceed to install any of these unofficial ROMs, keep in mind that you need to unlock the bootloader of your device in order to so and install a custom recovery. Both of which will have the effect of voiding your phone’s warranty. Even if you’re cool with that, make sure to do “some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here”, as the developer itself recommends.
