LG’s powerful phone boasting of a massive 4,500mAH battery, the LG X Power2, will be made available globally this month, the company confirmed. Launched in February, the phone will be released now ‘in markets around the world starting in North America followed by key target markets in Asia, Europe, Latin America and other regions’.

LG has not detailed the pricing and exact date of availability which will be announced locally in each market. Also, the name might differ in some markets.

The LG X Power2 is successor to LG X Power and is aimed at heavy-duty users. With the 4,500mAH battery, LG claims that the phone is capable of operating for an entire weekend without recharging.

Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said:

The LG X Power2 was designed to meet the demands of users who want maximum usage from their smartphones between charges and many of the advanced features found on our flagship devices.

Powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5.5 inch HD display and packs underneath a 1.5 GB RAM or 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage which is expandable up to 256 GB using a microSD card. The rear and front cameras found on board are of 13 MP and 5MP resolution respectively both with LED flash.

The color options available for LG X Power2 are — Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold, Shiny Blue. This however, may vary depending on the market it is released.
