LG Electronics is looking to woo the fans of mobile photography with the announcement of LG V40 ThinQ that boasts of Penta-camera setup (3 at the back plus 2 in the front). This isn’t the first time LG finds itself ahead of the pack because, if you remember, it was the first to launch a dual-camera phone back in 2015.
The rear camera is composed of three sensors: one each of the standard (12MP), telephoto (16MP), and ultra-wide angle (12MP). The front camera is composed of a standard 8MP and a wide-angle 5MP sensor.
The camera is well supported by LG’s AI technology which taps into the phone’s resources to capture the best possible shot under any condition. There are a host of other new features like 3D Light effect, Makeup Pro, AR Emoji etcetera that make capturing and editing photos from the phone a truly rewarding experience. Moreover, LG has also collaborated with Meridian, a premium British audio systems brand well known for its home cinemas as well as automobile audio systems, to provide better audio experience with the LG V40.
The phone comes with a vivid 6.4″ QHD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) OLED screen that features a — you guessed it — notch.
