October is going to be a busy month for phone lovers, as we’re about to see flagship launch after flagship launch. And one of the first Android OEMs to do so will be LG.
The Korean tech giant is expected to take the stage on October 3 in Seoul and unveil it’s next-generation premium offering, the V40 ThinQ. In the meanwhile, the company has already officially teased the device through a post in which it details the design of the upcoming handset.

A video teaser has been included that shows the phone at all angles and confirms the fact that the V40 will ship out with five cameras on board. Three of those will live on the back, while two will be on the front for selfie-taking purposes. However, the company didn’t reveal the exact specifics, as it’s still trying to keep some details under wraps until the official announcement.
The clip also shows the phone’s fingerprint sensor located below the tri-camera assembly, as well as the LED sensor on the right of the cameras. Moreover, LG revealed the phone will come with a 6.4-inch display and will be sold in three colors: Carmine Red, Moroccan Blue, and Platinum Gray.
But since the V40 leaked extensively so far we already know most of what to expect. Here’s a quick list of its purported specs:

Price and availability
While LG confirmed the existence of the V40 ThinQ this week, the official announcement is still scheduled for October 3. During the event, the company will reveal the full details, as well as provide info about availability, as well as pricing.
But given that LG has steadily increased the price of its V phones over time, it’s safe to assume that pricing for the V40 will start at around $900.
