While everyone is gearing up for the launch of LG G6, our dear friends in the Great White North will finally be able to get their hands on the LG V20.
The news came from LG canada on twitter announcing that the LG V20 to be available on the ‘big three’ Canadian carriers — Bell, Fido and Rogers. The announcement also implies that the V20 will finally be available pan-Canada whereas it was earlier available only via Videotron and Wind Mobile in select regions (in and around Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver).
The LG V20 is a beast when it comes to specs. The device was launched in late 2016 and comes with a 5.7 inch Quad-HD display with its trademark 2.1 inch ‘Second screen’. Powered by the Snapdragon 820, the device includes 4GB of RAM on board and an expandable 64GB storage which can be maxed out up to 2 TB.

Currently running on Android Nougat, while the front camera is a respectable 5MP f/1.9 wide-angle lens, the dual rear camera setup is where the magic happens. The main rear-facing sensor shoots at 16MP, with an aperture of F1.8, but is now joined by an 8MP sensor with an aperture of F2.4 dedicated to shooting 135-degree wide-angled images. The 3,200mAh battery is more than sufficient for the device and in case you find yourself wanting more, just pop out the empty battery and put in a new one.
We heard you! Starting March 9, the LGV20 will be available at @Bell, @Fidomobile and @Rogers. pic.twitter.com/NVLtI7pE4l

LG V20 might still be a viable choice for the public who wishes to see what LG can offer but is unable to dish out the big bucks for the upcoming flagships of 2017. We Expect LG to be more vocal in their marketing campaigns now that they’re sure that they have a hit on their hands. Here’s hoping LG hears more from their customers and releases the V20 and G6 as soon as possible in as many markets as possible.
