LG Optimus Note Specs and Pics Leaked! [New Android Phone]

Another day, another android handset. Our last-month published best android phone guide already seems a bit dated with the host of new phones and tablets announced at IFA. But even that’s nothing, since we just saw the one more android phone launching today — the Motorola Droid Bionic, up for order online at Verizon and Amazon. And now we’ve a new device to wonder about: the LG Optimus Note.

LG Optimus Note is a 4 inch slider android phone, with Nova display (which is cool), 1.2 GHz dual-core processor from NVidia (called Tegra 2), Android 2.3, 5 mega-pixel camera in back with VGA cam in front, 8 GB storage and like Samsung’s Galaxy S and S II, has WiFi direct feature. And it’s body is 12.3 mm thick, which may look too large against Galaxy S2’s 8.5 mm of thickness, but considering it boasts of a full QWERTY physical keyboard, 12.3 mm is pretty good.

LG Optimus Note got leaked today by way of a press shot, so it’s not official right now. It seems destined for Korean market only but a similar device (a twin?) might launch in US at Sprint (as Optimus Slider, maybe!).

So, anyone wanting it badly? After all, it’s got that physical QWERTY slider keyboard that many people pray for, and that too in just 12.3 mm body along with pretty cool LG’s own Nova display tech.
