LG Optimus 3D Specifications got rumored today along with the leaked pic. The rumored specs of the Optimus 3D tell of a dual-core processor, multi-channel RAM, 4+ inches display, front facing camera, etc, while more will be known soon at the MWC event.

Not very much is known right now about the LG’s next android bet in and as LG Optimus 3D, but whatever has come to our knowledge today is nothing short of GREAT! And optimists among you can take it as a sign of ‘what’s coming Next’ on android, or smartphones, at a large.

So, we’ve a pic of the phone (above) and the just surfaced rumored specifications of the LG Optimus 3D, produced here:

  • Glasses-Free 3D technology. In the recently issued press release, LG has confirmed that Optimus 3D will have glasses-free 3D supporting LCD Panel (updated)
  • Dual Lens camera for 3D recording — sounds very exciting! (updated)
  • HDMI and DLNA connectivity options will be there to share your 3D content effortlessly (updated)
  • Dual Core processor — not known whether it will be yet another nVidia Tegra 2 dual core processor which is also powering LG Optimus 2X (where LG has put in a lot of success faith/expectations) and Motorola’s devices like Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic.
  • Multi-channel RAM — combined with the dual core processor, it definitely points towards enabling the glasses-free 3D tech on the Optimus 3D
  • 4+ inches display
  • Front Facing camera — it’s not so hard to spot one in the pic, after all. While the proximity sensor isn’t visible in the pic, we still think we’ll definitely spot one in the final product or more polished demo, the official ones from MWC, you know.

Sure, we’ll definitely know more and more about this next big upcoming android phone from LG, the Optimus 3D, on February 13 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event to be held in Barcelona. LG has already booked their place, promising us to take the its Optimus brand ‘into a new dimension’ which very much sounds glasses-free 3D to us.

Oh, and a word on looks too. While the overall layout of the phone remains borrowed from the Optimus 2X, the finishing does reminds of the awesome Droid X from Motorola. So, yes, it’s a hybrid phone, which to us is, very much like-able!

For your info, this is not the first time we’ve heard about glasses-free 3D tech coming to android, the Japanese Firm, Sharp being the first one to us — with their Galapagos 003SH and 005SH android phones.

And what do you think about LG’s 2011 potential, is the company all set to do taste success in android market like HTC, Motorola and lately compatriot Samsung did?
