Even as LG plans massive changes to its flagship G series, the company hasn’t forgotten about the other end of the spectrum. At the upcoming MWC 2018, LG will unveil two budget-to-midrange phones in LG K8 and LG K10. The new LG K8 and K10, which comes with three sub-models that are differentiated by RAM, storage and colors, are here to succeed last year’s models. Where the metal-framed K10 comes with a 5-3-inch display screen and an LG G6-sourced 13MP camera on the back and 8MP for selfies, the K8 relies more on software optimizations such as gesture control, Flash Jump Shot for capturing continuous shots to create GIFs and even HDR, among others, to deliver the best shots on its 8MP and 5MP lenses.

Price details will be announced at the MWC event, but given the current K8 and K10 models range between $60 and $130, expect nothing different with the upcoming models. The disaster here, though, is the software, where you still get Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box, but it’s nothing unusual in this price category.
